Dr. Chris Fernando
Dr. Chris Fernando completed his Podiatric studies in 1980, at the University of Salford in England. Dr. Fernando has over 40 years of experience, with a special interest in Biomechanics and Diabetic footcare.
In 1990, he opened The Central Foot Clinic in downtown Winnipeg.
Dr Fernando is a member of the College of Podiatrist of Manitoba (COPOM) and served on the council for the college for 10 years.
The team from Central Foot Clinic offer friendly, knowledgeable, evidence-based care to all their patients. New patients are always welcome, and no referral is ever required.
Dr. Justin Fernando
Dr. Justin Fernando completed his Master's Degree in Podiatry from the University of Salford. He has joined his father who has been in practice for over 40 years.
His intrests focuses on working
with high risk diabetic patients, wound care musculoskeletal cases and general foot care.

Dr. Kate Ritchie
Dr. Ritchie is a podiatrist based in Manitoba, delivering high-quality patient-centred care for a wide range of foot, ankle and lower limb conditions. She holds a Master's Degree in Podiatry with distinction from the University of Salford and has extensive experience within England's NHS managing high-risk patients and complex clinical cases
Her practice encompasses routine and advanced podiatric care, with a particular interest in nail surgery and musculoskeletal management, including custom orthotics. As a licensed prescribing podiatrist in Manitoba, Dr. Ritchie is able to prescribe medications where appropriate, ensuring seamless, comprehensive treatment tailored to each patient.
Before transitioning into podiatry, Dr. Ritchie spent over eight years as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in cardiothoracic and general intensive care. This background underpins her clinical precision, discretion, and commitment to delivering exceptional standards of care.
Dr. Ritchie is dedicated to providing a refined, professional environment where patients feel confident, supported, and empowered in their care, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and optimal outcomes.
